BUTTON CONNECTION

 

 

This project is one of my favorite projects as a magazine. My magazine is about buttons and connections. Why I choose a button is because I found out my grandmother's old shirt has a very nice and unique button then I start to go to some old tailor shop to collect different unique buttons.

I start my research about the button, buttons is to secure two fabric together. It reminds me of connection so I start to research different connections. In this magazine have 4 different connection which is 'mother and baby', 'water and fish', 'wind and dandelion', 'friend and friend'. 

I sew the magazine using one white color line, this magazine can open fully like in one line, it represents everything is connecting together no matter you can see it or not just like an invisible line.  Something and some people are written in your soul with permanent ink.
