Mythology (from the Greek mythos for story-of-the-people, and logos for word or speech, so the spoken story of a people) is the study and interpretation of often sacred tales or fables of a culture known as myths or the collection of such stories which deal with various aspects of the human condition; good and evil; the meaning of suffering; human origins; the origin of place-names, animals, cultural values, and traditions; the meaning of life and death; the afterlife; and the gods or a god. Myths express the beliefs and values of these subjects held by a certain culture.

Myths tell the stories of ancestors and the origin of humans and the world, the gods, supernatural beings (satyrs, nymphs, mermaids) and heroes with super-human, usually god-given, powers (as in the case of Heracles or Perseus of the Greek).

Concept

Happiness Behind The Window

Idea

A silent book target 18-28 years old audience. This is a silent book using abstract illustrations to show how emotion influences a person and his/her life. Everyone has a window in their heart, don't let emotions cover-up that window.

Message

Aim to let people know how emotions change will affect daily life. Don't let negative emotions devour the good things around you.

Story

It's about a person walk through different places, the places that the person pass-through will change because of his/her feelings. In the end, he/she saw a window, behind the window was his happiness. Finally, he/she realize because of his/her emotion change affected everything around him/her.

My illustration was inspired by Jimmy Liao. The illustration creates by Jimmy Liao mostly will have a bigger animal or bigger flower and a little person because Jimmy this kind of illustration created a magical effect. Therefore, my illustration in this silent book also using exaggeration illustrations to create a magical effect.
